Marketing Consulting for Owners Who Want a Straight Answer
You get a senior marketer who sets the priorities and owns the plan. Not an agency with a junior on your account, and not a vendor who only recommends the thing they sell.
I work with Coachella Valley businesses, nonprofits, public agencies, and events, and with clients in other states who found me the same way you did. Fifteen-plus years in, I’ll tell you what’s worth your money and what isn’t, even when that something is me.
Who This Is For
This fits when what’s missing is direction and a clear read on the numbers, whether or not you already have people doing the work. Typically that’s one of these:
- An owner doing the marketing yourself, or with one part-time person, who wants someone senior to set priorities and check the work.
- A nonprofit or public agency with a communications person who needs a second set of eyes on the website, search, and paid campaigns, and a report the board can read.
- A business working with a designer, a social media freelancer, or an ad vendor, and no one looking at the whole picture.
- An event or festival that needs a plan for the season and someone to check in with as it runs.
It’s not a fit if you’re looking for a cheaper way to get a full agency. There isn’t one.
What Ongoing Work Looks Like
- A monthly 30-minute call where we go through what happened, what the numbers say, and what to do next.
- A rolling 90-day plan I keep current: what happens this month, who does it, what it should cost. Not a deck.
- A look at your actual data every month: GA4, Search Console, Google and Meta ad results, and conversion tracking for calls, forms, and bookings. If it isn’t set up, we set it up first.
- Me as your first call for anything digital, including the “should I do this?” questions. Most get answered the same day.
- Review of vendor quotes, proposals, and anything a salesperson told you was urgent.
That is what Managed Marketing and Full Digital include, along with delivery of the agreed programs. Bigger work outside the plan (a new site, a separate campaign build) is quoted before it starts.
Pricing
For ongoing work, strategy and delivery come together in Managed Marketing and Full Digital. For an independent assessment and clear next steps, start with a Checkup or a Digital Roadmap. See the plans
Business Checkup: $295
Not sure the problem is strategy? Start here. I take a focused look at the one thing bugging you most, your website, your Google presence or your ads, and tell you what’s worth fixing first. Sometimes the answer is “nothing, you’re fine.”
Digital Roadmap: $995
The full review: site, Google Business Profile, analytics, ads, email, social, the subscriptions you’re paying for, and what happens after someone clicks, calls or signs up. A written plan: what to fix first, what it costs, what to measure, and what your own staff or current vendor can handle. One-hour walkthrough included. Sign on to Managed Marketing or Full Digital within 90 days and $250 comes off your second invoice.

Why One Person Instead of an Agency
There is no account manager or junior team between us. You talk to the person doing the thinking, and I’ve been doing it in this market for more than fifteen years. Because the practice is deliberately small, I keep everything documented: your accounts, your tracking setup, your plan, and the reasons behind each decision live in a shared folder you own. If I’m out for a week, nothing is stuck in my head.
Questions About Consulting
Do you do the work, or just tell me what to do?
Both. In Managed Marketing and Full Digital I set the priorities and do the agreed work. Anything outside the plan, like a new website, is quoted before it starts, so you always know which is which.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The Checkup and the Roadmap are one-time. Managed Marketing and Full Digital start with a six-month commitment, or twelve when the onboarding fee is waived, then run month to month.
Can you work with the people I already have?
Yes, and that is often the point. I will set direction and check the work of your designer, freelancer, or ad vendor, and tell you plainly if something is not working.
Do you work outside the Coachella Valley?
Yes. Roughly half my clients are local and the rest are around the country. Everything works the same over Zoom.
What do you not do?
Comment moderation, live event coverage and same-day posting. Social media I run is planned 30 days ahead and approved once.
