Find out how your business actually shows up online.

Two straightforward ways to get started. One tells you what’s wrong and what to do about it. The other builds you a proper front door. Both are fixed-fee, both are yours to keep, and neither requires you to sign up for anything ongoing.

Pick the one that fits

Most people already suspect something isn’t working — the phone isn’t ringing, the site feels dated, they’re not sure anyone can find them. The Checkup answers that with evidence. Website Essentials is for when you know you need a page and just want it done right.

Start here

The Business Checkup

$295 one-time

Fully credited toward any project you book within 60 days.

A hands-on review of the four things that decide whether someone finds you, trusts you, and gets in touch. I do the digging, then hand you plain-English findings you can act on — with or without me.

What I look at

  • Your website — speed, mobile experience, security posture, and whether the contact form actually delivers
  • Your Google Business Profile — usually the first thing people see, and usually the most neglected
  • Search visibility — what you turn up for today, what you ought to, and who’s outranking you locally
  • Tracking — whether you can tell what’s working, or you’re guessing

What you get

  • A written report, sorted into fix now, fix soon, and honestly, leave it alone
  • A 30-minute walkthrough call so you understand the why, not just the what
  • Rough effort and cost for each fix — whoever ends up doing it
My promise: if I go through all four and find nothing meaningfully worth fixing, I’ll tell you so and refund the fee. I’d rather say that than invent work.

Turnaround: findings within one week of kickoff.

Or start fresh

Website Essentials

$975 fixed fee

Includes the one-time Avada theme license, which stays yours for the life of the site.

One page, built properly. Enough to look credible, get found, and give people a way to reach you — without the cost or the timeline of a full site.

What’s included

  • One fully responsive page, up to five sections, on WordPress + Avada
  • Custom styling to your brand — logo, colors, type
  • A contact form that delivers to your inbox
  • One round of revisions after the first draft
  • Search foundation: page title and meta description, heading structure, image alt text, XML sitemap, Google Search Console verification
  • Google Analytics 4 installed and configured, so day one is measurable
  • Clean link previews when your page gets shared
  • 14-day post-launch support window
Timeline: about two weeks of build time once your materials are in. Payment: half to reserve your spot, half at launch.

Need more than one page? Say so on the call and I’ll quote it.

How the Checkup works

1

A short call

Twenty minutes. You tell me what’s been nagging at you, I confirm what’s in scope and send the invoice. No pitch.

2

I dig in

I go through your site, your Google profile, your search presence, and your tracking — by hand, not with an automated scan you could have run yourself.

3

You get answers

Written findings, prioritized and costed, plus a half-hour to talk it through. Then you decide what to do — including nothing.

Why work with me

One accountable person, not an agency. You get me. No account manager relaying messages to someone you’ll never meet.

Fixed fee. The number in the quote is the number. If something falls outside it, I tell you before I do it, not after.

You own everything. Your site, your hosting, your domain, your Google account, your analytics — all in your name. You can walk away any time, which is exactly why most people don’t.

Plain English. I’ll explain what’s wrong in a way that lets you make your own decision. That’s the whole job.

A few recent sites

One of these is the $975 package exactly as described above. The others are what happens when someone needs more — a solo law firm, a house-call medical practice, a valley HVAC company. Same fixed fee, same one person, different size.

Website Essentials — $975

Sophie Ann Hinkson

An author who needed something credible to put in front of literary agents and editors, and needed it quickly. One page — hero, about, featured work, selected publications in two languages, contact form. Blank domain to live site in about two weeks, nothing added to the package.

Professional services

The Vostrejs Law Firm

A solo real estate and business attorney in Colorado whose whole differentiator is flat-fee pricing and actually answering the phone. The site had to say that quickly and get people to a consultation — practice areas, attorney bio, scheduling, and a client portal, without the bloat most firm sites carry.

Medical · on a care plan

Palm Springs Aesthetic

A concierge physician practice that treats patients in their own homes and offices. Built to explain an unusual model clearly, with a consented before-and-after gallery and multiple ways to book. Still on a care plan, and the site has kept growing since launch — which is the point of a care plan.

General Air Plumbing & Electric

HVAC, plumbing, and electrical across the Coachella Valley. This one exists to do a single job — turn a seasonal tune-up promotion into booked appointments — so it leads with the offer, carries the trust signals and license number up front, and puts the booking form where people can’t miss it.

Questions people ask

No. Both offers are open to anyone — current clients, people they’ve sent my way, and folks who found this page on their own.
Then skip the Checkup and start with Website Essentials. There’s not much to diagnose when there’s nothing there yet — though I’ll still look at your Google Business Profile as part of the build conversation.
Yes, and it’s usually the right place to start. The Checkup is capped at a working review, not an exhaustive audit of two hundred pages — but it will tell you where the real problems live. If you need the deep version, I’ll say so and quote it.
Whatever you want. You can hand the report to your own person. You can hire me to fix specific items — a tune-up runs $495, additional pages $350 each. Or you can put it in a drawer. The $295 comes off any project you book with me inside 60 days either way.

If you want, though it’s never a condition of a build. Plans run from $95/month for a small, stable page up to $425 and beyond for busier sites — full comparison here. Plenty of people take the site and run it themselves, and that’s fine too.

Yes — registered 501(c)(3)s get 15% off everything, including both of these. That’s $251 for the Checkup and $825 for Website Essentials.
La Quinta, California. Most of the work happens over email and Zoom, so location isn’t a limit — but if you’re local, I’m happy to meet in person.

Rather send details than book a call?

Fill this in and I’ll come back to you within one business day with a straight answer about which one fits.

No list, no drip sequence. This goes straight to my inbox.

Two days of my time, or two weeks. Either way you’ll know where you stand.
