New Site, New Sips: High Desert Beer & Wine Fest Goes Live

Is there anything better than a crisp craft beer, a smooth glass of wine, and a freshly launched website? Maybe not all at once—but we’re getting pretty close.
I had the pleasure of working on the brand-new High Desert Beer & Wine Festival website, and I’m excited to say it’s officially live—and looking as clean as a well-poured pint.
This isn’t just a fun event (although it is). It’s also a great example of how combining smart web development with strategic digital marketing can create a seamless, scroll-worthy experience that works for attendees, vendors, and organizers alike.
The Scope (a.k.a. What I’ve Been Up To)
For this project, I teamed up with the the Soundskilz event production team to provide:
Website Design & Development
A clean, modern, and mobile-responsive WordPress site designed to showcase everything the festival has to offer—vendors, tickets, entertainment, FAQs, and more.
Social Media Management
Planning and executing a social calendar that’s equal parts informative and engaging, helping build momentum as the event approaches (and saving the organizers from last-minute scramble-posting at 11 p.m.).
Digital Marketing Campaigns
Running targeted paid social as well as paid search and display campaigns to spread the word across the High Desert and surrounding areas—getting more eyeballs (and eventually, beer-loving feet) through the gates.
Email Marketing
Crafting branded email newsletters and updates to keep the audience in the loop—from ticket drops and schedule announcements to last-minute reminders and sponsor highlights.
Ongoing Management & Strategy
From content updates to campaign tweaks, I’m staying onboard to keep things running smoothly through launch day and beyond.
What Makes the Site Work
This wasn’t just about building something pretty (though it’s definitely not bad to look at). The website was built to perform. That means:
✅ Fast load times (because no one waits around for event pages to load anymore)
✅ Optimized for mobile (because most users are checking it out on their phones)
✅ SEO-friendly structure and metadata (so the site shows up when people search for fun things to do)
✅ Easy-to-update CMS for the organizers (because no one wants to email their web guy every time they need to add a vendor)
It’s also got integrated ticket links, vendor applications, and all the must-know info, laid out so even a wine-tasting first-timer can find their way around.
Why It Matters
Events like this thrive when the details are easy to find, the excitement builds ahead of time, and the online presence reflects the care and energy that goes into planning it. This project let me bring together everything I love—clean design, strategic marketing, and community-focused events that bring people together.
I’m proud to have helped set the tone for what’s sure to be a memorable festival—and even prouder that the site and campaigns are working just as hard as the organizers.
Check it out for yourself at highdesertbeerandwinefest.com. And if your event could use a little digital polish—or a full marketing game plan—I’m always happy to chat (and maybe raise a glass while we’re at it).
